This could benefit from a remake imo. Old one was cheesy as hell. Awful special effects.

I was a kid and huge fan on the original.

I loved the original. I think a remake could be awesome if it is done well.

Apparently the novel had the age set at 21, which the remake will use rather than 30 like the original movie.
