Photo Edit / Splice / Merge Request

This is my first foray posting to the esteemed Fark Board, and I don’t know if requests like this are entertained – but here goes.

My wife’s mom passed away suddenly last week. My wife is a serial picture avoider, and her mom was the one person in the family who took pictures – and quite prolifically at that. As such there are very few shots that include them both and only a handful of just the two of them. The best of these are spread over two pictures taken in rapid sequence of my wife and her mom, but in one my wife is blinking while her mom is beaming, and ditto – but reversed – in the other.

My photo editing skills are limited to PowerPoint – which is to say I can crop, rotate and resize pics. I’m also very good at recognizing when I’m out of my depth. I’m looking for someone who can merge the better halves of these two pics. There’s tile in the background and a few other complicating issues, but based on what I’ve seen come out of this board it should be a piece of cake for someone who knows what they’re doing.

I can only offer my sincere thanks in return and relay that this will be a treasured keepsake of my wife for the rest of her life. If anyone is able to assist me, please e-mail my TD handle @gmail and I’ll push the pics to manipulate.
