You guys are missing the whole point of his post. You guys are talking about the draft, he's talking about the "he can literally only play 1 year for us" part. When he says that's not how it works, he means that Williams would have 2 years to play, no just 1. He wasn't talking about the draft eligibility.

The post he responded to was clearly talking about the draft. But the chances of him ever playing at a 4 year school are slim and none given his history and the fact that he will be draft eligible before being NCAA eligible.

No... His point was all screwed up because he was confusing the 5 yr eligibility rule with draft eligibility (see the Brandon Weedon reference), and it was misapplied to Williams in any case. This said the number of correcting responses is overkill.

Got you. I mistook his meaning because of the other post. If he was talking draft then I can't help him. I now look as bad as he does. What can you do?!
Would be nice if Williams turned the corner but I doubt it happens. His pattern gives no reason to give him the benefit of the doubt.
