I know a lot of the board and people from Louisiana like Cowboy Mouth, but I just cannot stand them. The lead singer is just so damn annoying on stage. His songs about New Orleans are so damn cheeseball and dumb.

I'm right there with you. Aside from being from Louisiana, I see nothing redeemable in their music. Drunken frat boy jock rock.

New song, I Appear Missing (calling all comas), is streaming here:

I think it's way better than the single that has been released.

Huge QOTSA fan here. Looking forward to the new album. I agree with another poster, best band of the decade IMO.

Did y'all catch the video for what I'm guessing is a radio edit of the new song at pitchfork? Awesome

i meant in terms of song structure and writing...
ETA: if the final project does sound like that it wouldn't bother me, Era Vulgaris kind of sounds like that and it has some of their better guitar tones IMO

like new song better than My God is the Sun, but it wasn't bad either.

I'd give my right arm for this and the new Daft Punk. Hype level for both albums is through the roof for me right now...

New tour drummer looks to be Jon Theodore, formally of The Mars Volta and One Day as a Lion. I am a big Mars Volta fan, especially of the JT era, so this is great news!

yea I just read this as well - indeed great news! he's a sick drummer, although only on one song on this album, the last song. He'll still be touring and that'll be a great show. Only seen Queens once for Songs for the Deaf tour, but saw Them Crooked Vultures which was amazing!!

very pumped about this - June gonna be a great month for music with this and Sabbath's new album
