That said, The Empyrean is a better album than anything in the RHCP catalog.
I like John's solo work but this is hyperbole. Blood Sugar Sex Magic is up there with the greats as far as being a great album from beginning to end.

Your misusing the word hyperbole here. Hyperbole would be "The Empyrean is the greatest album ever made and makes every RHCP album sound like it was written by 3rd graders."
In regards to your statement, in my opinion, The Empyrean is a much better album than Blood Sugar Sex Magic. You can name every RHCP album. To each, I will say The Empyrean is better. Nothing hyperbolic, merely a direct 1-to-1 comparison between individual albums.

I dare you to say that in Jamaica.
Peter Tosh > Bob Marley
ETA - Did Bob ever even make an album without "The Wailers"?
Bunny and Peter split by 1974, but Bob carried on and referred to his backing band and vocalists as "the Wailers". After Bunny and Peter left Bob still had:
Natty Dread
Rastaman Vibration
Exodus
Kaya
Survival
Uprising and
Confrontation
left to record. Don't get me wrong, I love Peter and Bunny, but that body of work right there transcends what the three of them did together.
ETA: in my OP I refer to The Wailers (capital T), meaning Peter, Bunny, and Bob.

You keep trying to create a persona around me to justify your own shitty taste. You have no actual argument against the points I've made, so you resort to trying to insult my person.
Again, tell me how my dick taste.
