LA has a history of banning me for mild Chokers smack talk.
I banned you once.

Lol at his ban bet. I thought Chicken doesn't like those.
It's not a ban bet. this would be strictly self-imposed. The loser voluntarily keeps himself off of this board for a month.

Why come on HORNETS Talk?
Believe it or not, the Hornets are my second favorite team. I'm New Orleans born and raised so I want them to do well, even though they arrived in New Orleans long after I had left the city (1993).

They were horrible in the playoffs. They'll have to blow up this team and start from scratch around Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, and Jamal Crawford. A new coach would help too.

Huh? Wait. This season that just ended? You mean the theoretical team we could put together next season?

The coming season. It's not that crazy to think a team with Anderson, Davis, EG, CP3 and another lotto pick would be better than the 07-08 team.

Good luck finding someone to take Jordan's contract and get anything worthwhile back in return. Better hope that someone has a major hardon for Bledsoe.

Blake Griffin

The guy that can't shoot/play defense that's making max money?

Jamal Crawford

All he knows how to do is shoot, and shoot some more. You're making him a franchise cornerstone after 1 above average season?

You do realize you lost in 6 to a team while having home-field advantage? CP3 brought the Hornets starting Ariza/Belinelli/Landry/Okafor to a game 6 with a bum knee and without home-court advantage.

You're team has loads of cap commitments and no talent. Clippers are screwed and I can't wait til CP3 leaves so that they can once again become the ultimate laughing stock of the NBA, building around the megastar talent that is Blake Griffin.

I mean, really, what's a better joke than getting teased with a CP3 for 2 seasons, giving up assets and space to get him, signing people to dumb contracts, and then watching him leave? That's got Clippers written all over it.

I don't think his entourage will let him come back to NOLA but there's a lot to dislike character wise on the Clippers, hopefully making this a thoroughly entertaining offseason.

Ill choose to answer the OP.

Yes it's a possibility, but remote. If he hadn't played here, the chances would be zero.

I'd say:

LAC 50%
Hou 25%
ATL 15%
NOP 7%
Other 3%

Pretty fair odds IMO

Though the Clippers are still such an uncertainty right now IMO. If they fire Del Negro, I think their chances go up to 80% or so. But if they decide to keep him, I think it drops to below 30% or so

They have to fire VDN. I'll be shocked and stupefied if he isn't gone by the end of next week. He is a terrible coach.

Funny how civil a thread turns when someone with ban power shows up.

I think LA should stick around, regardless of favorite team.

Quality check.

I heard someone make a comment about CP3 on Friday i think it was Jalen Rose, and he said agents tell players in the NBA to not go to different teams throughout your career because that is a bad image on the player. Lead me to think if CP3 does not like the direction of the clippers and no legit contender can pay him, then why not go to a solid team like the hornets where you can also sign a couple of role players to help you.

No, you don't really want that. Promise. I mean, I actually sort of respect the guy and we'd probably get along swimmingly IRL. However, his rep (among several good posters I know personally) is that he has a very itchy trigger finger when it comes to banning, and he definitely is not even handed when he is pissed about a particular post or poster. In any event . . . peace out, L.A.

Maybe I'll see you guys tomorrow.
