Do you have cox cable and a smart phone or tablet? If so, download the watch espn app. Login with your cox login and you can watch all the espn channels.
ETA: it also supports other service providers, but idk the list off the top of my head. Download the app and see or google for your answer.

Yea, you may be SOL with ESPN.
I would still try ESPN 3. I have had them tell me I needed to enter my cable info. I just closed the window and reopned it, and had no issues.
