If you read the thread I agreed with the fact that Gausman really had no decision at all. He had to go pro. Really no chance to improve his stock.
This thread is just a hypothetical, bullshite, pipe dream I had while watching Appel pitch last night. Seeing him made me "wish" and think about how bad arse it would have been to have a rotation of Gausman, Nola, and Eades.

He would have been a SR or a redshirt JR this year. So probably not. I think he would have left after his JR year in baseball to the MLB draft.
