He pretty much says what any educated fan would say. miles cant hold the hands of over 100 players. they have to be accountable, not only for off the field stuff, but their performance on it.

But the Miles haters will continue to deny he has control and continue to deny that miles always does what he feels is best for the program.

I've wondered the very same thing. It's pretty easy to not get someone pregnant if you have a lick of sense, which he seems to have. How stupid are these guys? Or do they just live in such a sheltered universe they think it'l all get fixed, like it has all their lives bc of their ability on the field? It forces some guys to leave school early when they aren't quite ready. You don't think Hilliard having twins is going to be the most influential factor in his decision next year? It's almost like a right of passage for young folks today to have kids young. One or two here or there ok, but every class seems to have a few that have or will have kids while at LSU. That doesn't sound like the college experience I'd want, but hey, whatever floats your boat

Don't think he's encouraging anything, just said he needed to think of his daughter before he did anything. Maybe I'm just bad at comprehending things

i dont think he planed on this i just think he manned up and is taking care of his daughter.

Simon has a young one. Yet hes the one getting arrested and smoking pot. Reid is not.

you have one taking responsibility for his actions, and one that is not.

I had multiple friends have kids while still in school. Its not just athletes. Its young adults refusing to use protection or not using it correctly. Maybe she skipped a day taking birth control, maybe the condom busted.

Some of these guys prob get pussy thrown at them. When thats happening they are only thinking about that, not what could happen after.

Eric Reid is a class act and makes me proud to say I am from Louisiana. Great kid. His lil girl is adorable and loves her DaDa. She was more the talk of the draft then him.

Here's to you Mr. Reid

You did LA and LSU proud native son. Wish you the best in the NFL.

if we had 85 guys on roster with that kind of maturity, selflessness and commitment to the collective we would be unbeatable.

get better.

Spent some time chatting up his parents/ family after the A&M/ LSU game last Fall..., it's EASY to see why he's a great young man.

I know the Reid's well, and having talked to his dad on a few occasions about Eric Jr's situation with his daughter, he told me he was acting like a man when he got the girl pregnant so he will act like a man as a result. That is why you would see him working at Walmart after school and on weekends before he went to college. The Reid's are all a class act and all three of his boys will be successful no matter what they do. Kudos to Eric
