Yeah I usually play as the Fs or Ss myself... 4 verts is definitely gonna be killer if you cant generate a pass rush.

Pressing a wr with a cb, with only 1 deep safety will be a very poor choice...expect lots of cover 4 with user controlled DBS from me..

While it's a bit frustrating I can live with the pass protection on this game. It still has defensive linemen getting to the QB a little too easily for me but I've learned to just audible my RB's to block NO MATTER WHAT I'm running and it eases the pain.

The run blocking on the other hand is really starting to piss me off. EA hasn't improved it AT ALL from 12, and to be honest I think it's actually worse which I didn't think was possible.


Oh and I'm about to go through every team and turn the linebackers speed and acceleration down for most of them. I usually play with LSU and almost every linebacker I've faced that covers OBJ and Landry when they are in the slot keeps up with them without any trouble (I play with the speed threshold at 25).

I wonder if the poor run blocking has to do with how the OL is "graded"

Meaning...you have a "pass protection" OG with minimum awareness pulling, thus causing him to act braindead.

Subsequently, can this be rectified by recruiting a "run blocking" OG with decent mobility to replace the slow idiot.

Remember each player has strengths and weaknesses..hope this feature works well

They have 3 ratings for OL: Pass Block Rating, Run Block Rating and Impact block rating, and I know strength and agility come into play a bit with the linemen but it shouldn't make that much of a difference when all 3 are in the mid 80's or so. Even if it was a pass block specialist he isn't going to run straight past a defensive player without putting a hand on him during a run though lol.

Why don't you just adjust the sliders and speed threshold? I did that and I haven't had any issues.

I'm mad that you still can't delete conferences and still have to have 4 teams in a conference. The WAC is dead it is stupid I can't make it how it is going to be in 2013.

This is a loom at the post game of my first offline dynasty matchup for those of you who have not picked it up. Was happy with it for the most part. Still pretty rusty on the sticks.

Is the super linebacker still present in this game? I'm sorry but having linebackers jump 8 ft in the air and batting down every effing pass is garbage.

The super LBs is better, but not completely gone. You now can actually throw over LBs heads, but every now and then they still make a unrealistic int.
