Why? The jerseys don't say Hornets on them. I get why we don't wear the Charlotte Hornets throwbacks but these jerseys say New Orleans on them. Even if we wore the Nola Hornets jerseys vs Charlotte, they will still be different thanks to the creole blue and gold compared to the greenish teal hue they wear.
BTW, we will not see the jerseys until August. No team has ever revealed the jerseys this soon.

I would have to think it has got to be sooner... this is a complete rebrand including a new name... not just a new look
maybe save the court for August... but a jersey has to be out for June/July in time for the draft for the new Pelican draftee to hold up
but I may be wrong and I probably am
and yes I realize when the Hornets brought in the creole blue unis they wore to their last day... that was unveiled in early August... but this is a much different situation

right... didn't the Hornets unveil the modified logos (new Hugo, official fleur-de-bee, NOLA trumpet) the same day as the creole blue pinstripe uni unveil?

When the Hornets got new jerseys in 08, the rookies did not hold the uniforms draft night.

All of those changes are on that 2y plan. They got special dispensation then to wait a year and to add the FdB patch prior to that.
Benson is clearly on a special deal. Maybe it's by the draft, definitely by the season though!
