Starter, considered one of the top 2 RT's in the league, making $bank$

1st round pick who was supposed to be a franchise LT and it took him 2-3 years to get in shape. He is not considered even a top 5 right tackle. Making the same bank as most other NFL players.

Kareem Jackson

Sucked from day 1. Improved last year but still not worth a 1st round pick.

Mark Ingram

Plenty of chances, still sucked.

Same as Ingram

Didn't even know how to backpeddle. Getting hurt might have been lucky on his part. Giving him more time to get ready

Both played pretty well in rookie years, but nothing amazing like most people were predicting.

LOL

Wow.

Everyone considers him one of the top RTs in the league, and PFF (probably the most respected ratings system) rated him the top RT last season. But I'm sure you watch so much of him that you can make a better assessment of his ability.

Never "sucked". Was "decent" until last year, became "good". May not have been worth a first round pick, but still a good player that his team is happy to have.

Saban uses a superior technique.

Not everyone. Plus that's from only one year. It still took him 2-3 years to get there. Not worth 1st round pick at LT. Actually I watch the Bengals a lot. Whitworth is a beast for them

No he sucked. Then got decent. I watch the Texans a lot too.

Yeah really. He's had more chances than other guys.

Kareem Jackson's stats may have gotten better, but only because he's the Corner every opponent picks on with Jonathan Joseph on the other side...still beat often.

Bama swept plenty under rug most notably when he hit a kid with his car, and beat the shite out of some frat stars when they called him the N word.

Andre Smith was never drafted to play left tackle. He was a 3 and done offensive lineman which is incredibly rare. He never redshirted and was of course really immature. He graded out as a top 3 right tackle this year and garnered some all pro consideration. He will possibly be the highest paid right tackle in football after he renegotiated.
