What do you guys expect from this kid?

I haven't seen very many mentions of CW's presence on this team recently; and I'm wondering if most are writing him off.

I think he had a average season at best but from his play I saw a lot of hustle and he showed the ability to react to the ball in the air with poise, gt a pick if I remember correctly.

I'd compare it to p-rob who seems a bit surprised every time the ball is thrown his way and then uses his athleticism to hurl his body towards the pass location with his arms out hoping to make something happen. Sometimes it happens sometimes it doesn't.

Considering the absolute shite-show he got thrown into his rookie season from a small-school. I like Corey White, I'd buy his stock over P-rob at least.; I'm not sure what that is saying.

not much but can develop into a solid starter after Greer. He will probably be the back up to Greer with P-Rob moving to nickle. Also there was some mention of him being moved to S

He was way over his head to start the season, but he started to pull it together. He's tall and got long arms and can run. He could develop into a nice press corner in the slot to cover the larger, faster tightends in sub packages.

I thought he, Q, and Bush actually made a decent amount of plays towards the end of the year.

I assumed the opposite was happening.
Everyone was so unconcerned with his development that we didn't feel the need to speculate.

Towards the second half of the season, he became a legit option and started making plays.

I think he'll be very good for us, especially considering when he was drafted.

I thought for playing along side the worst defence in NFL history he looked ok for a newb.

He played like a late draft pick last season.

Maybe.

To use an over used term, White has flashes of greatness. Prob has more experience though. I wouldn't mind white getting more reps and snaps so we can really see what he can do.

If you're front 4 can't create pressure on the QB, I don't care what kind of secondary you have - you are going to look like crap.

We'll see how the pass rush does this year, and then we'll be able to gauge his play in the games.

That would be his knock, the tackling. Coming from a small school to the NFL has got to be terrifying for a 200 lb cb haha.

maybe I'm over-valuing it, but he looked very natural when the ball was in the air coming his way. We haven't had that since Darren sharper, and Mike McKenzie before that; a guy that still has body control when the balls in the air, and doesn't just spaz out in the receiver's direction.

I just feel like that's what everyone says about all our secondary, "he can tackle but he cant play the ball in the air worth a lick".

I'm hoping he will develop nicely

Keenan Lewis is also good with the ball in the air.

I thought he was solid and showed the potential to be pretty good.
