We argue the merits of adding defensive players vs offensive players, who to Draft, etc on here all the time. I have always kind of felt that adding a guy like Reed or Woodson who has seen it all in the NFL as a FS to put the back half of our defense in position would be the single biggest thing we could realistically do to improve our D in a short period of time outside of maybe getting really lucky in draft and getting the D rookie of the year or something.

Safety is a spot where I will trade pure athleticism for intelligence every single time.

Gtfo with that nonsense. I want a purely athletic safety. I don't want an experienced washed up vet a la Darren sharper. No way that could help us....

Nope. No way. Having 2 solid corners in Greer and Lewis play 1 and 2 corner with a smart experienced veteran ball hawk at safety and Jenkins rotating in and out of nickle and safety.

No way we get shite done
