forgot about this.

The depressed market for corners, along with questions about Asomugha’s skills and his interest level in football, surely have made it harder to do the right deal. Then there’s the $4 million that Asomugha already will make from the Eagles in 2013; the cash in hand could tempt teams to low ball Asomugha. That said, knowing he’ll make $4 million this year allows Asomugha to be patient. With the top of the market at $6 million annually, getting $4 million to not play at all provides an attractive alternative.

It shouldn't. Nobody is going to touch a player who sat out an entire season after two lackluster years left people questioning his ability.

We should trade down if he's the best defensive player available at 15.

If Rhodes is available at 15 we should go sprinting to the podium to take him.

He won't fall past the Bucs, however, IMO.

Right, I said that because taking a rookie corner at 15 doesn't jive well with our needs. Not that Rhodes isn't a top 10 talent.

I just think if all our OLB/OT targets are taken, we should trade down and try to get quality at both with more picks.

But, but, we could draft Tavon Austin!

Seriously, though, I agree with what you said.

I didn't suggest the idea, but if we cannot find reasonable compensation to trade back and we're going BPA Aaaand Tavon Austin is the BPA

He will be a saint

If they draft Austin in the first round I'll break something.

Healthcare facility in Cleveland, where I assume he took his physical for the Browns.

ETA: Sorry, meant Philly/Eagles. PFT verified it.

I don't have a good feeling about the Saints landing either one. I just feel like both are holding out for big paydays and the Saints (or Brown or Eagles) value Butler that much and apparently, the 49er don't for Nnamdi.

Ahh gotch.

I do think Butler is going to try and maximize his contract. He really has to at this point. He will likely get lower offers next time around at around 30 years old even if he really blows up.
