Julio Jones 6th overall for 1st-(27th overall), second- (59th) and fourth-round (124th) picks this year and their first-(22) and fourth-(used to trade up for Richardson) round picks in 2012.
So a higher value pick for for higher value. How does this not make sense. Its not like I am saying hey ill give you 15 for 31, 34, 61. that would be insane.

6th overall
You just made your own point. There are 14 other teams that have higher picks that they would be willing to trade up with to get a guaranteed top pick instead of giving up all of that for just 15th overall. They've certainly got the picks to throw away. Not saying you won't see them do this, but not all that for 15, value equivalent or not.

6th value 1600
27, 59, 124, 22, 118 value 1876
Seriously that's not even close. The value for getting Julio was 276 points over matching compensation. Mine right now is below 24 points. If the metrics dont matter to you thats fine, but every NFL team uses this somewhat and if there is someone there a team like the 49ers would want this is far and away not a ridiculous deal for them. If you want to look at it as 5 for 1 like most of you are then yes we are totally screwing the 49ers and they wouldnt even consider it. You win.

So we're gonna draft a 4-3 DE at 15?
NFL Network
I agree Chad, if this is how the first round ends up, retreat.

similar to maximus, there are people that suspect he goes both ways.

If this is how the top 14 play out... RETREAT RETREAT
If they don't trade back, that scenario does open the door for Tavon Austin.

I like this one better. Gives us a shot at Mingo, Jones or Star.
