Does anyone else think they throw WAY to many strikes. Just as a test I played a game against R.A. Dickey and through 7 2/3 innings he has thrown 80 pitches now and has thrown only 13 balls. This is with me taking to 2 strikes each at bat so I didn't inflate the numbers by swing at a bunch of balls out of the zone.

All I know is that if you are playing against me, any ball with any movement will mean that I will miss, fly out etc.

I would love to be great at this, but for the love of god i suck at batting.

I've gotten really good at the batting. Biggest key is being patient.

It seems like, every year, the pitchers throw way too many strikes. People over at operation sports could break it down, but it is over the normal.

You will need to adjust your sliders to decrease the strike frequency.

Batting wasnt the problem for me. Getting walks was. Why the frick do i need to get walks if im leading the team in BA and HR. The only flaw i had in this almost perfect game.

Yeah I figured out being patient is key. Guess pitch fastball Everytime and if it's not a fastball it's something off speed almost Everytime.

This.

Just like real life its much easier to think fastball and adjust to offspeed than the other way around.

I just put the batters eye low in the zone and swing away. If the pitch is low in the zone then i just swing. If it higher up it is easier the just let go of the eye and it jumps back into the middle of the zone and then swing.
