The wifey is in meds school up here in Shreve and never sees me anyway. Half the time she is kickin me out the house to go hunting because I just distract her when I'm home on the weekends.

If anything, I have done much more hunting and fishing since I got married. She would join more often, but can't afford to with school.

Getting married didn't affect my hunting schedule a bit. Having kids did though.

Bingo. My yungin is 2, so only a few more years before I can take her with me.

Starting a new job out of state right after I finished my school work helped me go a whole 0 times duck hunting this season.

An old friend gave me some advice before I got married....IT IS EASIER TO ASK FOR FORGIVENESS THAN IT IS FOR PERMISSION... Wife and kids sure will put a damper on the outdoor activities..I taught mine to love golf and fishing when they were young and would just take them with me...

Take her with ya man. My future wife loves going duck hunting with me. So much so that she started saving up to buy her own gun. To be perfectly honest I enjoy the heck outta having her out there with me. Besides there's just something special about getting to jerk her waders down and get her bent over the front of the duck blind

I slowed down after kids because she was stressed. I am glad I did. still hunted every day I wanted. I just had to get a local lease and stop going out of town for 2 weeks at a time. My son shot his limit at least 10 times this year.

PS My wife still blows almost every time. Might be so I will blow her, but who cares. I would do it anyway!

I'm not gonna lie, this has been a very common reoccurring fantasy of mine.

Congrats on getting hitched.
No matter how many times your buddies say it is ok they really don't want your bitch or any other bitch in the blind.
