Just an update if any others signed up for this. I signed up a few weeks before this was posted (I saw another post about it). I just received my first issue of Rifleman yesterday but no other mail of any sort. Not even one asking for more money. 
Looks like it takes a while but at least I got something.

I made sure to sign up for paperless delivery, and the same cant be said for my inbox

create an online account using your member# and you can opt out of most mailings without affecting your magazine subscription
