My Comeaux Spartans are playing them this Saturday in the semi's. I know they are defending champs and from what I read on here should be favored this Saturday. Trying to find out what kind of team they have, who are their best players, are they more of a physical team or an athletic team, etc. Thanks in advance for any information.

Are they a physical team or a really athletic team. Rummel was a really physical team whereas Comeaux is pretty athletic although we have a real physical presence inside in Julian.

Damian Jones has more potential, and is rated in the top 50 players in the country.

Brian Bridgewater is lazy and selfish when he plays. Or at least the few times I've seen him (when he was at Episcopal)

Coach Sample does a tremendous job and is rising to become one of the best coaches in not only the state but the southeast. Does more with less in terms of facilities and money but he gets the kids to buy in and does a tremendous job getting them to work hard in the classroom.
Are very athletic but also fundamentally sound, when they get off the bus are one of those team that immediately gets your attention.
6'9 Damian Jones is very athletic and their best post player.
6'8 Jared Sam is very athletic but very raw
6'5 Brian Bridgewater plays like a football player and is more of a PF playing at SF.
Rotate in a number of guards but heard one guy named Banks is a good player to watch.

As a team play with great pressure and use their athleticism. Last years team had it all this years team one key is definately perimeter shooting. I have only seen them play once but follow most of the state in basketball. Should be a great game with two very deserving teams. Sorry if I couldnt be more in depth.

Great breakdown. Trying to see how Comeaux matches up. We have decent size and Julian is a beast inside. We have good talent overall but when you get in these situations you need your stud to have a big game and we will need for Register to have one of those games.

They have the it factor.

I don't know much about Scotlandville, but I do know that a team with a couple Register's on the roster can beat anyone in state. Whole family can shoot 3's

he doesn't play like that at Scotlandville. He probably was all Episcopal had so he had no choice
