You can't compare the Saints to the Pelicans. The leagues are set up so differently. The idea of parity in the NBA is a bigger joke than bddwolfpack.

The NFL has their fair share of perennial losers. We're probably going to see more parity in the next couple of years as the new tax and cap rules ratchet down. Honestly, OKC, Houston, Minnesota, Golden State, Flop City, and Atlanta are all pretty good examples of parity in the NBA. I'm not convinced that there is more parity in the NFL.

I honestly think we're in a pretty good situation with Gordon right now

Basically, we're stuck with him right now, which gives us between now and early to mid offseason to decide if he's worth keeping. We don't have any pressure to trade him now that the deadline is past, so we can just let this play out and better evaluate our options.

Besides, our season sucks anyway. Its not like he's going to cost us a playoff spot now. All he's doing by not playing now is give Rivers more playing time to develop and get us a better draft pick

Most teams have to rebuild and develop players from time to time.

Has nothing to do with winning not being the top priority. I understand the development aspect, but you play to win the game. Period.

In case you are unaware, I am not the biggest Monty fan. Your example is my example. Let me be clear, I don't hate Monty. I just don't understand the hype around him being a great young coach.

And please, we don't have to

You need to put this in your sig line if you want it to be clear because most of the time it seems like you hate him.

I'd like him to earn that status. When he was hired I was very excited. Fresh, new ideas. I thought the players would relate to this guy. But he hasn't done squadoosh to make anyone say he's a great young coach.
