Everything in life is better when LSU defeats the Alashama MulliGumpNeckTeabaggers.
Before the end of the game, I had accidentally cut my foot off with a chain saw. When LSU won in OT over the Things, my severed foot crawled on its own back to my leg and glued itself back on like nothing happened.

The director for this game wasn't the one who set it all up, plus this Bengal Brass band hadn't done a performance before that and hadn't practiced in weeks. We got 2 more games to fix it.
I doubt anyone else in the PMAC noticed other than Bourne and the coordinators.

this will really be awesome when a lot of folks are actually in the stands to hear and see it

If LSU closes out the season strong there should be the best crowd since 2009 at the Ole Miss finale.

It was their fourth performance this weekend, and I think it was the best yet. Really like it and I hope they continue to improve it for next season. I think it could really be cool if they work on it a little more. Some cooler drum stick tricks and movement could really bring fans to their feet.
I did the video posted above for the 2nd performance. I believe they have improved since that one, but it gives a good idea. Will try and record again on Wednesday. I kinda need to bring my tripod to cut out on the wiggle, but there's very little room in the seats there.

Getting the band to fire up the crowd is a great touch, and LSU should do everything they can to make the PMAC exciting again. The band's pregame is part of LSU lore, and just makes the environment special
Disagree on the sentiment of avoiding big-name teams. We SHOULD schedule big teams, home-and-home would be ideal. There really is no downside; so what if you lose? What you're doing is re-establishing that LSU DOES have a basketball team that plays in the same field as the Dukes and Carolinas of the world, and that puts our name out on Sportscenter.
Chris Jackson's 1st year we played Kansas and Illinois at home and lost; but the team got recognition.
Memorable games from the past include the Arizona games, we all remember Shaq and Swift leading LSU to wins over respected opponents in frenzied environments. Beating Ohio St introduced Glen Davis to the world. Losing to Marquette still helped establish Trent Johnson's 1st team as a good one.
We gotta re-enter the bigger college basketball scene in order to become good again. Play the big boys, find out what you need to get better, and go get the players to do that.

Schedule some big out of conference matchups. Duke, UNC, UCLA, Zona, Kansas...
yea, let's pump the brakes on that one.

Just bring the tripod and go up to the concourse and film it, then break down and go back to your seats.
