That rumor was already reported by Sportsbybrooks months ago and Emmert shot it down.

After the shambles he's made at the NCAA, do you really want him back?

He hired Saban and changed the culture of the BOS. He gets a lot of credit for this great run our football program has been on.

Hell yeah he gets a lot of credit, and rightfully so. That's why I'm confused as to Jim's post.

You do realize the Governor appoints the BOS at his discretion, right? Foster's complete support of Emmert's vision and leadership at LSU-and the examples he made out of anyone who did not agree with and help support Emmert by removing them from the BOS after warning-allowed Emmert to do some good things.

But make no mistake, Emmert was allowed to succeed by former Governor Mike Foster. He had zero control or influence with the Board. Foster's belief in Emmert and his willingness to prove that support using his own appointing power as it related to the BOS is what changed its culture.

I'm guessing you know don't really know what you're talking about with that post.

LSU grew by leaps and bounds under Emmert. The Stelly Tax act allowed LSU to do this and expand faculty numbers and quality. However, all this has been erased by Jindal.

Louisiana has one flagship University, it's amazing what Jindal is doing to it.

We don't have to worry about that here at LSU.
