Like I said early, it's easy to look back at what happened and blame coach,

The game plan was to make a team who had shot poorly from the outside all year beat you from outside. They did. End of story. Don't really know what other game plan some fans would have called for other than the tried and true "don't let them make as many baskets as us" strategy.

That was a tough loss, but Tennessee was lights out last night. If this was Trent's team, we would have lost by 20+. We sure needed flawless defense to win last night. I will be in the PMAC Saturday vs Bama

I thought it was one of ADP's better games all around, JOB had him open on a few positions in the 2nd half but just didn't see him. I think we would have pressed more but w/Morgan and Carmouche out Hammink and Collins just aren't ready. I'd really like to see Hammink in a couple years, once the game speed slows down. I think if we could have pressed more it would have had more of an effect, but last night was just a Tenn. night unfortunately. I wish Shavon could finish more around the hoop hopefully he can put on about another 10 lbs by next year, and get some of those put backs and offensive rebounds but the guys gave a good effort on short rest.

One of the positives that I took away was that Hammink and Collins were both needed tonight and both logged some positive minutes. This will be huge if it continues if we make a run in the SEC tourney or postseason tourney where fatigue can become a factor.
You've got to be kidding about Collins right? In 6 minutes he had zero points, zero rebounds, zero assists but yet managed three fouls and one turnover.

Everytime he touches the ball he is just a turnover waiting to happen. Hammink wasn't much better in 14 minutes but at least he managed one assist and no turnovers. It is, unfortuately, not a positive when either one of them is on the floor. Hammink at least plays pretty good defense and shows some potential, although his offensive game needs a lot of work. Corban Collins just not show anything good at this point.

A good example is Morgan's 5th foul. He barely touched the guy 35 feet from the basket. It did not cost Tenn a turnover and it did not knock the Tenn player off his spot. I think the conference should be embarrassed by the refs they put on the court. This is not an LSU thing, it's a league thing.
While what you say may be true, there is also a player being smart enough to adjust to the officiating. Now admittedly if they aren't consistent that is difficult but I thought Morgan should have known better than to press that hard that late in the shot clock.

i love what Johnny Jones is doing with the Team and Program. They play hard even all the way to the end of games. You show me a team that plays hard for a coach and i’ll show you a good coach. PLUS the recruiting is off the charts for a program that’s been in the doldrums. I love the guy Johnny Jones!!!

Tennessee is playing at their highest level right now and could possibly beat Florida at home if they shoot like they did last night. I'm happy that our team played well on the road and did everything we could to win, can't ask for much more.

If we play like that in the SEC tourney we will make a run considering nobody will shoot as well as Tennessee did last night. I'm pumped for Bama Saturday

If they play like that next game I got Tennessee in the ncaa championship! They were hot and the refs were calling make up calls after make up calls. I hope we win Saturday.
