I figured some of the F&D posters from Lafayette would be interested in this article, so I wanted to share it here:

quote:

Ragin’ Cajun fans and University of Louisiana at Lafayette students will soon no longer be able to enjoy the famous plate lunches served at Campus Copies – the restaurant close its doors at the end of the month after about 26 years in business.

“It’s just kind of hard to swallow everything right now – it’s happening so fast,” Todd Reviere, one of the restaurant’s co-owners, said during a brief phone interview this morning. “The landlord has been kind of hinting that she maybe wanted to sell the building or renovate.”
