Is it worth the money or not?
I heard they had problems with cross threading when screwing on the cap for the battery and it would basically ruin the laser.

I read that in some reviews on Amazon. It seems that by sitting the cover onto the threads and turning left until it "drops" avoids that issue. Once it drops you turn it right and tighten. I'm thinking of getting one since I could switch it between my Glock and AR if I want to. All the reviews I've read about Viridian say that they stand behind their product and will replace any malfunctioned parts.

Ok cool so they'll replace the part. I just didn't want to drop $275 and then it breaks before i even get to use it. Thanks for the cap tip too.

I have one mounted on my Keltec PMR30. Found mine new on ebay and was worth it IMO. The stobe light setting with the green laser is awesome at night.

That was what was holding me back initially as well. I'm moving in a week so I'm probably gonna order once I get settled into my new place.
