Outboard theft

My brother just texted me.

Somebody stole the motor, battery, and gas tank out of his swamp boat. It was chained up, but they cut the chain and took it.

I fricking hate thieves.

Not saying we don't have the same kind of trash on the north end of the state. But honestly from what I've seen, we're an order of magnitude below the scumbag level you have to deal with down there.

Greater population density. S. La is much more densely populated than N. La and will have more bad apples just based on the numbers game.

i fricking hate thieves. i really law enforcement could catch a lot of these bastards by baiting them. they caught some bastards at the pigeon launch a few years ago by just waiting and watching.

frick a thief. i hope their boat sinks on the way home.

I imagine if WL&F ran the serial number on ever motor they cam across they would be able to recover a good amount of stolen ones.

Then they would be put on the same level as inspection sticker check point cops.

That was a brand new gas tank and battery too bc those got stolen two weeks ago. As much as it sucks Dr y'all need to start pullin em back and forth...this shite is aggravating.

Considering they stole battery and gas tank with the motor I can almost gaeantee they have it on a boat and using it.
