Disclaimer- this is the first in the series that I've played.

Did it underwhelm anyone else? I figured Waytham would be the last death, but a little foot race to kill Lee? And why would Lee just go sit and have a beer after being shot in the chest?

I also don't know what to think about Desmond's death, I get that he sacrificed himself to save the world but how does that set up for a fourth installment?

highly disappointing end to the series.

The whole reason for Desmond's need to experience Connor's memories felt forced. They should have come up with a more compelling reason than "we need a stupid amulet".

Connor was such a twat, and Lee is one fast motherfricker.

Really disappointed with how AC3 ended and other parts of the game. Definitely didn't even come close to my expectations.

All of the desmond missions were fricking gay and really didn't flow with the game. The ending sucked, very anti-climatic.

I actually thought this was the best assassination in the series. As Lee was losing blood, he probably came to the realization that fleeing was only a temporary solution. Connor would continue to hunt him, and find him, and succeed in killing him just like the rest of the Templars.

That final kill is symbolic of the tenacity of idealism. The Templar Order is concerned with control over base passions, whereas the assassins, and particularly Connor, use their zealotry toward the cause of liberty (and revenge) as a tool.

Lee has ideals, but his have been pushed on him by his order. Connor's genuine spirit makes him a much more dangerous foe.

I didn't love everything about this game, but I did think that scene was atypically poignant for Ubisoft.

But Connor was severely injured as well, just seems like Lee could have secured a pistol and laid in wait, or would that be more of an Assassin's kill than a Templar's?

Would you say that is the reason Waytham didn't attempt to kill Connor earlier, rather than the fact that he was his son?

I just assume that Lee had some revelation between leaving Connor for dead and stumbling into that tavern.

It's perplexing that they took the subtle approach with that subplot but had Haytham monologue for 3 minutes after a fatal neck wound. What a bipolar game.

Sorry, it was bugging me.

I have been playing this game off and on for about a month and am just past the Tea Party. Playing as the first character was rather boring until you find out his twist.

I've enjoyed playing as Connor, but I am finding the game incredibly tedious.

Lots of traveling for 15 min just to get to a mission. I never want to do side quests bc I feel like it drags the game out. Also, I really don't care for the tool crafting,

Honestly I just feel that the game tries to offer too much without truly being engaging in any area.

The Lee kill was the best, IMO. My biggest grievance was just how the Assassin order felt so philosophically removed from previous games. Obviously there are reasons for this, but...I just didn't enjoy it.
