“The interesting thing is, about five or six minutes prior to I guess the breaker going, where our radio booth was up on the seventh floor, we were almost at the ceiling of the dome, and Kevin says to me, ‘Man, do you hear that buzzing?’ And I took my headset off and there was this like electrical buzz sound coming from the ceiling. This was after halftime, it was after Beyonce.”

“And by the way, Beyoncé blew the electric in the Superdome twice, I’m told, during her rehearsals during the week.”

I read this somewhere too. If true, this is 100% Goodell's fault for going ahead with the show anyway.

If true, run just the show off of generator and don't compromise the domes electrical. Doesn't take an electrical engineer to figure that out.

ESPN reported that the halftime show was on a seperate electrical thingamajig and had nothing to with it. Now is that somebody just saving face? I don't know.

About the size of an 18 wheeler. Not uncommon. The dome has generators bigger than that.

Show was on a separate power source... It 100% did not have anything to do with it

It was a bit strange that it happened not long after halftime.

It was confirmed that the halftime show was powered by a seperate generator, the lights went out on one side of the dome because of a power surge and a few breakers tripped, that is all.
