I don't think that power outage had any effect on the game what so ever; but if the 49ers had won it'd be all anybody talked about for awhile

If anything the NFL should be thanking the Dome for the power outage. Everyone was about to turn that game off. The outage made it a great game.

True.

Power outage was still very very very embarrassing, but a comeback under those circumstances would have been bad.

CBS was definitely preparing for the narrative. Kept flashing stats "since the power the outage".
