Played last night for a few hours, hoping it would trump D3... and it does. Got to level 18 on a Witch and I'm loving it so far. Just started Act 2.

Path of Exile is what Diablo 3 should have been.
Playin a maurader and love it. Skill tree is frickin fantastic! You can make as many characters as you want and every single one can be completely different.

how are the melee classes? all i've done is ranged

Just started the game a couple days ago. Only level 13, plan on playin all weekend. So far I like it. Gonna go with a 2H Ground slam maurader build i think. Stun everything in my path and demolish em. I've always gone with melee class in RPG games and with so many different skills to take/go for, I can have 5 different mauraders with completely different builds.

Haven't had that much of an issue with that, couple times I couldn't go in a dungeon because of some screw up but it's been fine so far

Doesn't happen often at all.
Got caught with a eliete (yellow) mob with AOE fenzy and a pack of blue mobs. They ate thru my ES and I spammed whirling blades to try to get away couldnt out run their damage even poping HP flasks.
Ranger is lvl 12 now. Starting Act 2 today
