Jamarcus. He was more talented to begin with and simply needs to drop some weight and change his attitude. Chad Jones has a lot of physical challenges to overcome before he can worry about being a talented safety.

The difference in the two is sickening if you ask me. One is a man who has scratched and clawed and fought to come back and fulfill a dream, to realize the potential that was seen in him by everyone. The other is a man who gave it all up because of lack of self discipline and pure laziness.

I'm not sure either has that great of a chance, but I hope to God the right answer is CJ.

Last I heard Chad had all foreign objects(screws, etc.) removed from his leg, and he got his 40 time down from a 4.8 to a 4.6. At the NFL combine he ran a 4.5 for comparison. His recovery has been unprecedented, and he might not be far away from having an opportunity in a training camp. Only time will tell, but I hope he makes it to the field.

I see Jones at least getting a roster invite from someone, I don't see Russell getting that. Not for awhile at least

If this is true, I would have to go with CJ. Harder for a good body to overcome a head and heart defect than the other way around.

Too bad they can't put Chad's heart and attitude into Jamarcus's body.

Is this a serious question or a joke? Chad Jones for sure, although he is going to have a tough time getting on the playing field with his 4.8 speed!

Not about talent with Russell. Self control. Lose 60 pounds, sharpen your game, then send my people the video. Otherwise, buy a BBQ stand and GTFO.

Russell doesn't deserve to make any team due to his pitiful work ethic

But there are a few teams that would[sadly] take a chance on that FAT loser.

On one hand,....considering some of the dumb arse shite the Jets have done at the QB position the past decade they are probably gun shy.

....on the other hand, they really have nothing to lose. Tebow and Sanchez were the voted the 2 most overrated QB's in the NFL last year. Since Tebow got no chance to play we Sanchez got benched it pretty much tells you how bad they both are. They won't be overrated again any time soon.

Heard Michael Clayton on the Doug Gottlieb show yesterday and Michael has been training with JR. Says JR has it together mentally and just needs to drop the necessary weight and knows this is his last shot. I hope to see both these guys make it back as well as Jones making the most of his opportunity. Always gonna pull for our former TIgers to find success.

Unfortunately for Chad, I just don't think he can physically do it. The kid is a true warrior and was a great Tiger. I will always pull for Chad Jones.

On the flip side JaWalrus Ruffles is a joke. He "comeback" is even more hysterical than the Raiders picking him #1 overall. He has NO CHANCE to make a team. NONE. ZERO. NADA. Good day, sir.

Chad Jones with a bad leg can't be any worse than any Saints defender with 2 good legs........

Jones and the Saints. JM has as many issues as Randy Moss and he's been out too long. It's a Rex Ryan hail mary, and it'll never work

Pulling for both to do well.

Would love for CJ to make it, because of the work the dreadlocks of doom put in.

Really want JR to make it to prove he is a real tiger.

Holy shite you might be the dumbest person on the rant. Don't you think of Chad could still play pro baseball he and his doctors would have made that choice rather than to try to play in the NFL. He can't throw 92 mph anymore because of his leg. Do you know anything about pitching? Legs are a huge part.

Get a clue, dumbass.

Who's the dumbass? A pitcher's velocity comes from drive through upper leg strength and hip flexors. Chad had a compound fracture of his fibia, tibia and nerve damage in his ankle. If he has recovered to the point that he has the strength and foot speed to run a 4.8 40, there is no question he is still capable of pitching.
