Clearly, I'm bored but I'm drinking with some pals and thinking. For no particular reason, I'm wondering how this current line-up would do with Ariza. Great defense and athleticism with occasional offense. Is Aminu developing into a similar player? K. I'm done. Thoughts?

I do wonder if Ariza would be making a difference.

He'd be better for our defense but Aminu is much better on the boards. Don't know how much of an upgrade it would be if at all.

He probably would but I don't know how much. Since like you said he is just a better version of Aminu. But he does have his moments where he chucks up shite being over zealous and stuff like that when he doesn't get the ball.

He'd work for this team much much better than he did for the team that was here. I like the guy, I'd be ok with it.

You mean like Aminu did last night with that three right before the Beard And-1 that sealed it?

I don't know. I guess he needs to be on a team as the fourth scoring option. I just always liked the guy and he played great defense.

Yes but on this team he would be the 5th or 6th scoring option

Gordon
Anderson
Vasquez
Davis
Ariza/Lopez

Yup, this is why he was so good with the Lakers. He played some of the best defense in the league and played his offensive game within himself because he wasn't relied on as much. Houston and us are idiots for bringing him in to try and make him a 2nd or 3rd scoring option.

He would fit in great with this team with Vasquez, Gordon, Davis, Anderson getting more offensive touches than him.

We had to trade him though, because his contract sucked for what type of player he was and I don't think Washington takes Okafor straight up.

He wasn't good at knocking down open shots and you could sag off him. Like others have said he'd be pretty much the same as Aminu but you'd swap defense for rebounding. If Ariza was on this team we'd still all want to upgrade SF.

I will never forget the three he hit against Miami to seal the win the first year the big three were together. Top 5 most fun hornets game I have been to.

I remember that game very well. I remember thinking that night (it was really early in the season)that the Hornets may shock the world that year. CP3 and the rest of the team gathered at center court after the win. Anyway, that was a great game.
