I used to own one. I was shooting in competitions, and it was my first OU. I sold it to upgrade to something fancier, but it was a good shooting gun. Not very intricate with the design on the receiver, but smooth swing to it. Cant hardly go wrong with an OU with so few working parts on them.

Any other brands I should look at for the 1k-2k range?? I am familiar with aya but nothing else. I have an aya deluxe no 2

all my fake bird shooting buddies used to swear by their browning citoris, is that still a good or decent one?

Browning, beretta, cz, weatherby all make good 1-2k shotguns. Although weatherby stopped making OU, if you can find one of theirs from when skb made them out of japan, you will have yourself a gun

My duck gun is a semi auto I bought two years ago, it's a long shooter and kicks like a mule. Very light and tight patterns.
This is it: I 12

That's a myth, ain't it?
Like that g spot rumor...

The other brands mentioned are good. Beretta and Browning are the most popular in O/U on the sporting clays/skeet fields.
With any O/U shotgun (especially the "inexpensive" ones) it's important to make sure the point-of-impact (POI) = point-of-aim POA) with both barrels.
