I am interested in buying a new laptop soon. I was wondering which laptop can give me normal functionality for a college student, yet still has some room to play a few games to download off of Steam (never had any experienced with Steam or PC gaming besides the Sims 2 and Sims city but a couple of my gaming friends say Steam is glorious). I don't know that much about computers so I need some help. Anything under $1,000 is reasonable.

Don't have enough room to put a PC and I need the computer for class and what not. I'm not going to be running a bunch of games on the laptop. I just need a few to pass the time in the middle of the day.

or he could take 11 $100 dollar bills and wad them up and throw them on the ground and piss on them and then set them on fire.

I sold my laptop to get a PC. My grade actually ended up getting better since I didn't have a laptop to screw around in class with.

No excuses!

I got one that serves similar function for under $500. Under $1000 will do it for sure. Start by looking for anything with a dedicated graphics card.
