Silver Linings Playbook

I'm really looking forward to this movie. It's got Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Robert De Niro and Chris Tucker in it and is getting a lot of awards buzz (especially for Jennifer Lawrence).

Thanks for posting RT. Hadn't heard of this but this looks like it has a lot of potential.
Love David O. Russell. Wish he'd make more movies.

I hate romantic comedies but I really enjoyed SLP.
BTW, I told a friend that she should see SLP because it was a good romantic comedy then later I found out the movie was based on a novel that was written by one of her students.

Great movie. DeNiro, Cooper, Lawrence are all terrific.

Excellent movie, got a little predictable, but the acting was spot on.

I liked it alot and I'm not normally a big romantic movie guy.
Only problem I had was the whole time I was thinking how fricked up their kids would be if it was real life.

Well, looking at his own father, the apple didn't fall far from the tree. I'd expect more of the same in the next generation. Plus I think Jennifer Lawrence's character said she didn't want kids, so its good.

SPOILERS
The best part of the movie was the structure - it was itself manic-depressive. At one moment you're laughing and the next your crying. It all culminates with a manic-depressive dance summarizes the whole relationship and life of the two main characters. Really well done.

I love your opinions on SLP. You, like myself, seem to want this to be the most perfect romantic dramady of all time, and want to protect our queen and the character she plays.

Funniest part was the jump (in dance) at the end. So funny.
