Did you miss the entire first half of 2012 when Ware was the feature back? They ride the hot hand, always have. If one guy is a little nicked they spread it around. If one guy is healthy and on it then he carries the load.

I actually thought Blue was featured heavy in the beginning. I think he was getting 15 carries a game. I will check the stats to see but once he got hurt i think the running back by committee became even stronger. PLus a few back liek Hillard had down years and wasnt consistant. Also we had horrible fumble issues from every back early.

I posted the wrong year, I meant 2011, but Blue in 2012 is another good example. The runningback by committee thing is overstated, if a guy is healthy and playing well he can get the majority of carries a la Hill towards the end of the season. On the flip side no one has to play through an injury if they're not 100%. I don't think it hurts recruiting in the least when our guys still get to put up a highlight reel without destroying their body.

LSU has very little in the hopper for 2014. He starts day one at LSU.

Won't Jeremy Hill still be here? No way he starts in front of Hill.

Juluke said he's still going to recruit Speedy and Gerald and Leonard. I don't know if he could pull it off but don't count him out he has Coached GW and Speedy for the last 3 years, and he is a St Aug legend and knows LF family real good. But still is a long shot

I like coach Juluke and think he's going to do a great job at LT. But, Frank is actually related to Speedy and Frank didn't need Coach Juluke to introduce him to Frank. Also, knowing that Frank and Jabbar talk just about every day, I have a feeling it's going to be tough for him to negatively recruit LSU and Frank, which is about the only way LSU would ever lose a recruit to Louisiana Tech.

That's y I said it would be along shot at those particular kids but he'll be able to get kids that LSU sleeps on.

Back when we had hester we weren't stacked at RB like we are now. A stable running back group is always beneficial, but Les needs to make one of the backs a "feature" back. The peach bowl running game was almost perfectly spread except for the fact that we abandoned the run game multiple times

fwiw, I work at a hospital with LF's uncle. He says the entire family wants him at LSU. Leonard is still weighing his options but really likes the situation he would be in at LSU

I could believe this...I thought he would be ours before reading this anyway....this only strengthens my beliefs.
