Ex-Saints Blood to Draft

We looked at Cameron Heyward, the son of Ironhead, in 2011. There's another two this year-
He already has two nephews in the NFL, Clifton (Indy) & Robert (Cincy), now another-
Another Georgia Bulldogs defender has decided to skip his senior season and turn pro. Junior nose tackle Kwame Geathers told Dawgs247.com on Wednesday of his decision to declare for April's NFL Draft. Geathers, a 6-foot-6, 355-pound mountain of a man, started four times for the Bulldogs this past fall and notched 40 tackles, including five behind the line and one sack.
Georgia hoped Geathers would take over as a full-time starter at nose tackle next season, so his departure is a blow to a defense already decimated by graduation and early entries. The Bulldogs have just four starters returning from last season: defensive end Garrison Smith, outside linebacker Jordan Jenkins, inside linebacker Amarlo Herrera and cornerback Damian Swann. While the NFL draft advisory projected him to go somewhere between the third and sixth rounds, it wasn't that big of a shock that Geathers chose to leave early: Geathers' family has a history of leaving early: His older brothers Robert and Clifton both left Georgia and South Carolina, respectively, a year early. Robert Geathers is a starting defensive end for the Cincinnati Bengals.
-looks more 3-4ish NT to me but ya never know
from downtown Mandeville...
LB Michael Mauti, Penn State, has been selected First Team All-Big Ten (Media selection) for the 2012 college football season. A co-captain, Mauti earns the first Butkus-Fitzgerald Linebacker of the Year honor for "LinebackerU." in its second year of being presented. The award is named after Dick Butkus (Illinois) and Pat Fitzgerald (Northwestern). Mauti and Fitzgerald were coached by Ron Vanderlinden, who has been Penn State's linebackers coach since 2001.
A semifinalist for the Butkus Award, Mauti ranks in the top 10 in the Big Ten in tackles (7th, 96), interceptions (4th, 3) and forced fumbles (3rd, 3). He also leads the Big Ten in interception return yards (125). Mauti has 4.0 TFL, 2.5 sacks (minus-25), three interceptions, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and two pass break-ups. The former Mandeville High School standout started the initial 11 games, suffering a knee injury in the first quarter vs. Indiana on Nov. 17 that ended his season.
-and an exhaustive report
-the injuries will prolly be the big point on how his draft stock goes

Mauti's knees are fricked, would probably be a solid player if not.

That's what we do- watch one game & "no way!" or "get him fo sho!". Fortunately the scouting department scours all the film, interviews them, and sees how they perform in all star games as well.

From past defensive picks made by these scouts they haven't been doing there job that well. The only player on Georgia I'd draft is Jones cause he is a future pro bowler

If you want to judge based on that one game along Jones looked bad in that game too. UGA has a boatload of defensive talent besides Jones.

True but with there Dline being totaly dominated it's hard to blame a Pass rusher like Jones because they didn't need to pass in that game.
