Long time lurker, but I decided to start a post to maybe give us a bright perspective on the season.

In the many years of the nfl, there has only been 4 other teams with three 1k yard receivers. In a season marred with injuries to our top weapons with drops and tip balls, the quiet storm finished with 1154 yards, lance moore finished with 1041 yards, and jimmy graham finished with 982 yards.

as much as this season has been frustrating, I'm excited about a good turnaround for 2013. an easier schedule with the loss, a better draft pick, guys getting the chance to get healthier, hopefully trim some fat and getting some better defensive players, and getting our head coach back.

we'll come back swinging and hello tigerdroppings!

Welcome & your positive post is breath of fresh air compared to much of the negative talk that consumes this board after a loss.

I'm so ready for free agency & the draft. This entire calendar year concerning Saints football can't disappear in the rearview mirror fast enough.

That catch today down the middle he made while in the air falling backwards was just routine.

as much as I like lance moore, I just remember two redzone TD passes he dropped being extremely wide open. one of which costed brees a continuation of the record.

at least his cost isn't that heavy for a usually surehanded receiver.

other than that, maybe with the emergence of morgan, getting nick toon back to replace a true saint in an aging henderson, and everyone getting healthy again brees may have a truly record breaking year for yards and TD's with hopefully a ton of less drops and INT's and get that MVP recognition he deserves.

That Lance Moore catch was unreal.

Jimmy Graham better re-learn to catch.

Say goodbye to Devery "brick hands" Hendo and hello to Morgan.

I really hope the Saints pick up a beast for the D who immediately comes in and makes a difference. I was stoked to see Cam Jordan playing like he did this year.

We should get back our 2nd round pick too, hopefully Goofy the Dicktator does what's right. 2013 should be a serious run!
