Was out in it this morning. Forgot my damn gloves and my hands turned purple. Taking the afternoon off bc if that happened again I'd be a grown man crying in the woods.

I've hunted in the rain probably 20 times. 5 of those could be considered monsoon-type rains. Haven't ever seen a damn deer, but I enjoy being out there in the rain so I am good with it

I enjoy sitting in a box stand in the rain as long as it is watertight.

Skipping today. Dad killed a 9 point this morning. I'm going to see Django Unchained. By myself. Nobody I know wants to catch movies at 2 pm on a Friday.

Same here, but I don't mind a few leaks to keep things interesting.

FWIW, I've only seen small/stupid deer feed in the rain.

Choirboy killed a damn good 8 point yesterday evening. I have a pic but don't know how to blur out the face and post it.

Stupid deer are like drunk ugly girls at the bar. Easy to shoot but don't brag

i don't mind sitting in the rain, but the risk of losing a blood trail is too great, especially when bowhunting, so I pass. i do love to hunt after a rain, but pussed out today. Alx is pissed.

Not hunting, but going check the duck holes. I am praying with this rain they will be huntable.

Give a report. My son called and told me that we had over 3" at the house.

My oldest son had a button buck and a doe come into his food plot in a driving rain this morning. Only the buck left. Head shot with the .270 WSM=no ruined meat.
