I remember when people said that about JR and he's leading the league in threes now. Pondexter has found a nice role for himself with Memphis too and similar things were said.

What do you see about Aminu that means he will become a serviceable player? He can't shoot, can't dribble, and can't defend. Athleticism will get you by in college but it won't do anything in the NBA if you don't develop other skills.

Yea, except those two were decent basketball players.

It's different with Aminu, mostly because Aminu is fricking terrible. Like, laughably, how is this guy in the NBA kind of terrible.

I'm not saying he will be a star but he has a place in the league as a role player/end of the rotation guy. Nothing wrong with that.

Not the current Aminu. He should be a human victory cigar, not a starting or even really a backup SF.
