My first thought about the flowers was that the Marshal sent them to Teller-Morrow pretending they were from Providence to start stirring the pot... His goal seems to be to punish Tara at this point, and that would go hand in hand with that.

Most likely would be ruled inadmissible evidence in a California court. If this is all they have then they have nothing.

In fact, the the Donal Logue character would more likely find himself jammed up under the law. We have a right to a reasonable expectation of privacy.

Depends on state law. In Louisiana as long as one of the parties being recorded is aware of the recording, it's admissible (or at least it was when I took my law class sometime pre-2005).

No way. Pretty sure the marshall has no clue that taking that job would piss Gemma off, or that Gemma didnt know she was taking the job already.

But let's suspend disbelief and pretend he does know all of that. He sends Tara flowers on the 1% chance Gemma intercepts them and reads the card first. LOL.

The flowers were sent to Jax and Taras house.

nubby went over there to drop something off and found them on the porch.

He brought them to TM.

You might be right, but what I like about his character is that he doesn't really give a shite. He's going to do it anyway, and break the rules on his side to make it work.

I love when shows set up a sympathetic antagonist. He isn't a Fed who just wants to make a career move by taking down the Sons, he's a renegade who wants to avenge the murder of his sister. It sounds weird, but I hope they don't give us many reasons to not like him.

It's not illegal, but admissibility is another matter. It would still need to pass the general admissibility tests.

finally watched this----this episode reminds me of the ending to Godfather, part I----Jax settling his scores but instead of the minions kissing his hand, instead Jax acknowledges his "love/appreciation" for Tig and Juice. then you have the women---Diane Keaton and Tara but different endings there

Season 4 ending

Season 5 ending

Wait, wasn't that Season 4 ending scene already used as a comparison to an ending scene of a previous season (season 2 or 3)? I really think I remember seeing that after Season 4.

If so, then Season 5 would be the 3rd time for a similar ending scene.

I thought the same thing with the Godfather reference. I think in this case it was Jax kissing them on the head if I remember correctly. They turned Jax from a guy on the brink of leaving the club to become a family man to a guy in full control of the club. He made so many moves on his own - arranging the split from the cartel, setting up Clay, taking out Pope without telling Tig what his plan was...then the scenes of him acknowledging his minions. This season's finale met all of my expectations.

It was used in comparison to the photo of Gemma with Jax's dad

Yea, last season finale they showed Tara and Jax then fade into Gemma and John- or the other way around, but you get the idea.

I knew that was the pose they were going to end with when she walked up behind him as he was sitting down.

Just realized he was holding Abel too. Sutter is big on foreshadowing
