Tubbs is like a fantasy football player that begins the season with 20 points a game and ends the season with 4.20 points a game. You never want to bench him because you think of the 20 points... then when you finally bench him because he sucks, he scores like 35 points for your bench.

I can see Tubbs recogninzing that next yr mite be his last, knowing who he had coming back & his back was already up against the wall. You can bet, then, that his agent had his name all over all the open positions around the country, yet his name never came up, apparently. Shows his perceived value, or lack of same perhaps. Let BP go to the boonies, he can keep quiet & restore his image in virtual isolation for a yr or so.
