here's what you'll see next year:

1. An offensive line that doesn't sustain 3 injuries early in the year.
2. An offensive line that can actually block.
3. An offense that doesn't lose it's starting RB early in the year.
4. A QB who is starting his 2nd year in the SEC.
5. WRs that can catch the ball.

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see our Offensive Coaching Staff get pay raises after the year that our team is capable of having next year.

Is the "we" in the OP referring to LSU?

If yes......

Couldn't agree more. Not many teams can lose 3 on the OL and still win 10 games

wtf is wrong with you? I don't understand your criticism of my post. I was listing at ton of reasons for why our Offense looked like crap at times this year. And, none of those have anything to do with coaching. I think that, with the same coaching staff, we'll see a remarkable improvement in our offense because we won't have to deal with:

1. Ton of injuries to starting OL
2. Starting OL that is better than what we started the year with this year, and has experience.
3. Our starting RB not getting hurt very early.
4. A QB who has experience in SEC play.
5. WRs with another year under their belt who should be better.

What's wrong with what I said that made you say:

Admittedly I didn't see every LSU game but I did see 3 or 4. What I saw was a predictable offense with uncreative and bull headed playcalling.
You guys have big, physical WRs who can make plays.....throw them the freakin ball....
and is there a TE on the field for you... who knows because they never seemed to utilize him. Call it injuries or whatever but I think LSU's offense is being held back by coaching.

I think you misinterpreted his response. It was a reaction to the original post. I think your response is what inspired him.

I wish someone would have stones to ask Miles about the OC position. If Krags was hired to be the OC, and due to the timing of his illness we had to hire Stud for 2011, I'm okay with that. But why not start looking for a full time OC immediately after the season? Obviously Stud wasn't good enough to the be the OC when we hired Krags, but now all of a sudden he quietly has the "interim" tag removed? I don't get it.

We have the $$$ to pay for the best OC in the country, but somehow we just get stuck with the guy who we didn't want in the first place. If Stud was such a great OC, then why did we need to hire Kragothorpe?

And we just accept it like everything is ok! Its bullshite that with the talent we have on offense, that we are still mired in the bottom third of national offensive production.

I could not have said it better myself. It makes zero sense how the offense is just "ok" and Miles doesn't think it at least deserves a mention or a statement. I don't understand how we could go out and pay a great DC like Chavis big money to have a great leader on that side of the ball.

Yet we get in these patch work situation on the offensive side of the ball and everyone just accepts it and Miles doesn't even say a word or bother to at least put in a word of confidence about the OC situation.

Like somebody else said, we had some unfortunate injuries and suspensions and defections that were out of everybodies control this past season. Ok, that's fine, but at least communicate that fact and give a vote of confidence to what you are doing for the future about the current system in place if that is what he wants to do.

Granted, this view comes from a Razorback fan, but unless a person has on such thick purple & gold blinders that he simply cannot see anything, you gotta say EIDawg did see this. Along with the rest of us - and whether we want to quibble about it or not, our offense was unimaginative, predictable, and ineffective (esp. inside the red zone). We saw receivers who did not or would not catch. We saw a QB who was not given a lot more latitude to play until the Bama game. Since all that, I assume, would be the purview of the OC, it begs the original OP question which I asked at the outset...
