Teet's is the best

Probably so.. It's got the right amount of smoke, quality meat, good seasoning and heat.. It's the real deal.

Mais.

It's good to see local shops doing well in small towns and not being beaten out by wally world.

Walmart

Haven't been to one in almost a year. I gladly pay more to shop at rouses or Nunu's.

I like the place just North of Ville Platte on the State Park road. I call it Ortega's. Anyone ever had that smoked sausage?

I love T-boy's boudin in Mamou, but I would not drive there for the smoked sausage. To me it's just meh.

How does Teet's compare to Rabideaux's? I am out of sausage and need to make a field trip soon. They are both about the same distance away.

Country Pleasing is the best "non local" brand.

Rabideauxs is avg at best IMO. If teets is a 10/10, I give rab a 5/10.

- Interesting, I guess I'll drive out to Teets and give it a try. One of the things I like about Rabideaux's is that it's pretty heavily smoked, is Teet's smoked heavily as well?

Yeah it's pretty heavily smoked. I think B&S is a little more smokes though. You may wanna try a few spots and find your favorite.

Conecuh is good sausage although I found it to be just a bit over-smoked - great for cooking with but a little strong for my taste when eating it straight. I had some Bourques Smoked Deer sausage a few days ago and that was pretty good as well - decent smoke and a nice peppery taste. I think I have some Teets coming in the next week or two so hopefully will be able to post back about that soon.
