had nothing to do with Tech being scared to play ULM. Tech's AD just thought he could hold out and be selected for a better bowl game. He turned down a sure thing like Tech is some powerhouse with a major following that can afford to be picky.

I'm hearing the big money donors told the University not to play Ulm. I'm sure the players did not care. They are the ones that lose out.

While everyone associated with LA Tech dines on a giant turd sandwich, I hope they realize that they have had way too high of an opinion of themselves for way too long. Justice served for everyone except the coaches and players - seniors especially - who were innocent victims here.

So Tech is not scared to play ULM, they just prefer another bowl over the Independence Bowl. Any bowl, really.
