I watched Karr defeat Holy Cross Friday night, and like everyone else, I was impressed with Devante Noil. He is a great player; I only hope that he can play WR or DB at the next level. I was not overly impressed with Willis, but maybe he just had a so-so game. And although I would not recruit him, the 5'11" 330 DL was impressive; the guy can actually move around. He was all state. A&M can have Ellis, and Dobard was pretty much invisible though he caught a TD pass.

Was he matched up on that really good Holy Cross receiver 1 on 1 much? if so how did he look in those match ups?

Karr came out flat and struggled they played down to there competition, nobody HC had impressed me at all. They ran away from Willis all night and he still led the team in tackles to boil it down HC was sad dude.

HC had a chance to make that game close. I was there and that was the most pathetic attempt at sportsmanship I have ever witnessed by the band and the PA announcer. HC was not even supposed to compete, but they did. What game did you watch? First and goal twice for HC but didn't get it in, then Karr scored on a scramble luck pass to the back of the end zone. yes, they have great athletes, but your are wrong in saying that it wasn't a game.

How am I a hater when I heap praise upon Devante Noil? The big boy in the DL was also very good; I believe he was all-state last year. The only thing that I didn't like in the game was that I do not understand why Holy Cross' better quarterback, Herzog, did not start for most of the season or in this game. He is better than Tabary.
