I think Brees is definitely in the MVP talk but in no way is he "by far" ahead.

Ive long been an advocate of 2 awards, Defensive MVP and Offensive MVP carrying equal prestige.

Brees is just out of it IMO. These last 2 games have hurt his chances bad.
