I was reading a book and Gary Michael Jones name was mentioned and it said he played football for LSU. I checked lsusports.net and the rosters for the years I think he would have played are not listed. Can anyone tell me how to locate the years he played. He was a Lt Col in 1993 and commanded the 2nd bat of the 3rd Special Forces Group. thxs

No the book wasn't fiction. That must be him though. I think the 3rd grp covered Africa and the Caribbbean in 93. The book was about how Special Forces officers were trained in the early 90's. It's called the " The Guerrilla Factory" and was written by Tony Schwalm.
