If the piggies made an offer...it was legit.
Now, if you thought that there was a chance that Miles would LSU for a shithole program like Ark...that wasn't legit.

Your AD apparently thought differently.

Enough so to draft a new contract consisting of man extension and raise within a 24 hour time frame.

I would have told Miles to carry his arse to Arkansas or he could just live with his contract. I don't understand why we feel Miles has leverage in this particular situation.
Let me ask you this. If your job required you to run some multi million dollar project and keep it operating at the highest level of competition, wouldnt you feel like you deserved a raise after 5 years of doing so with out a raise?

It would be nice if getting continually embarrassed by one's biggest rival and predecessor was enough to earn a raise in every profession.

I bet if you asked Saban his toughest competitor it would be Miles. All Im saying is Miles has Sabans respect. The record is close between the 2 head to head.

ah there it is.
You could probably see the whole picture if Sabans bellybutton wasnt slamming you in the forehead, blocking your view
but I digress

Yeah, clearly your AD's end game is to make other schools spend more on their current coaches while he's looking for his own coach.

This would not have happened here. I know some of you love Les Miles, but the truth is that LSU recruits for Miles, not the other way around. He would not have been successful at Arkansas. I'd go as far to say that Nutt would have had similar success to what Miles has done at LSU and Miles would have done similar to what Nutt did at Arkansas. He's not great at x's and o's and he can't manage the clock to save his life. I think you could do better with a better coach, but I wouldn't risk it either. Flame away, but they are very similar.

I'd go as far to say that you're borderline retarded

blah blah blah....and we haven't had a clock issue since our shitty OC was fired. coincedence? i think not.

History back past Saban would quell that myth...
Miles is an excellent recruiter but moreso the people that work for him are even better. Chavis works the GA and Carolinas better for us than we have ever had in the past.

Seriously though, you are so wrong with that statement. There is no such thing.
